Escaping Square

This is a small game about a square that doesn't want to become a platform. I released it for free, in September 2015 on the Windows App Store. You can find it be searching 'Escaping Square' in the Windows App Store search bar. I made this game by myself, and it's the first game I've published.

 

Gameplay Information:

 - 3D autorunner with prodecually (randomly) generated platforms.

 - Jump from platform to platform

 - Numeroues goals to achieve

 - Numeroues modifiers to change how you play

 - Can be played using a mouse or a touch screen

 - Requires Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 OS to be downloaded/ played

Remember

Remember is a procedurally generated exploration game where the player is tasked with exploring a house, with the goal of finding all rooms. It was released in December 2016, and it available on Itch.io.

Recurrence

Recurrence is a first person experience, where players find themselves reliving broken memories of a troubled marriage. No matter how hard you try to leave, something seems to be bringing you back. I made this as my final project for my course in a small group.

Stealth Buddies

A 2 player game where you break into a museum with your buddy, in order to steal the Holy Grail. This game is a local co-op game with player one using a Xbox 360 controller and player two using a computer keyboard. 

Made by myself, Nicholas Royal, Jon Flores, Reece Anderson, Shane Griffin, and Sophie Bracmard.

Attack of the Giant Jellies

This was a small game I made as part of my course. It's about a diver fighting giant jellyfish

 - Player collectes coins, shoots rockes and avoids jellyfish

Fear The Darkness

This is a small game I made as part of my course. It's about a child who is lost in the woods, and needs to find his way home, while staying in the light.

 - Players' fear level increases when in the dark

The Virus

This was a small game I made as part of my course. The player controls a dog who needs to find medicine for their infected owner, over the course of 5 days.

 - Medicine gets stolen if player doesn't find it fast enough

 - Rabid wolves roam the area

Office Heist

A first person shooter where the player breaks into an office building to steal valuable information.

 

Gameplay Information:

 - First person shooter

 - Player fights past robotic guards in order to find the information

 - Numerous pick ups scattered around the level

 - Pick ups include extra ammo, extra health and extra armour

 - Made with Unreal Development Kit

 

 

 

 

 

 

First Person Shooter

A first person shooter game set across two maps, where the aim is to defeat all the hostiles. It features multiple guns and pick ups. This was the first game I made using unity.

 

Gameplay Information:

 - First person shooter

 - Multiple guns; machine gun, rocket launcher, laser pistol

 - Each gun plays a different sound when an enemy is hit, and creates different coloured effects

 - Player is tasked with defeating all the enemies

 - Pick ups include extra health and bonus points

The outside of the office building

The first and second map, respectively

Staying in the light decreases your fear level

Being in the dark increases it

A few security measures in the first level. Later levels include lasers and patrolling guards

When the player gets over a certain score, the platforms become smaller, and the players' maximum speed increases.
